Happ VPN is a browser-based onboarding assistant. It guides users through the process of setting up a VPN connection on their device (iOS, Android, Windows, or macOS) via a simple step-by-step interface. The extension itself does not establish, proxy, or intercept any network connections.

3. Local Storage

The extension may save your onboarding preferences (selected services, preferred region) locally on your device using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local API. This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is not accessible to us or any third party
• Can be deleted by removing the extension

4. Third Parties

The onboarding flow may open external websites to provide VPN access setup. Those websites operate under their own privacy policies. The extension itself does not transmit any user data to external parties.

5. Permissions

Happ VPN requests only the minimum permissions required:

• tabs — to open the onboarding page in a new tab when you click the extension button
• No host permissions, no network access, no cookie access

6. Children's Privacy

This extension does not collect any data from users of any age. Since no data is collected at all, the extension is safe for all audiences.
